For this first post on Architecture & Design, it is more of a medley of my favorite shots taken lately. I have chosen to glorify this view on Singapore Opera House in a late afternoon. Its nickname is "The Big Durian"because of its resemblance with the iconic Southeast Asian king fruit.

Though the Opera House is at the forefront of the picture, I love this combined view with the building at the back.
Multiple forms, lines and shades, mix together in Singapore skyline. The architecture of Singapore displays a range of influences and styles from different places and periods. In addition to the colonial Peranakan buildings, a more contemporary architecture incorporate trends from around the world.
Singapore has gained a number one place in my list of preferred places to visit when it comes to architecture. Definitely more to come after the next trip there. I have already spotted some new places to share with you.
